Steve Harvey, the Host of the 2015 Miss Universe Pageant, mistakenly crowned the wrong winner during the live taping of the show.
Pia Wurtzbach was the winner of the pageant, but her name was not called. Paulina Vega was crowned winner. Soon after, Harvey announced he had made a mistake. Paulina's crown was removed when Harvey stated Paulina was intact the runner up- he read the cards wrong.
Denying rumors of a publicity stunt, Harvey addressed the fact that he began to receive death threats shortly after this incident.
I definitely do not agree with the death threats but I do understand why people are unhappy. I think when you have a job of being a pageant host the main task you have is to read your cards correctly. Especially with crowning the wrong winner, I understand why people are so upset by the mistake that Steve Harvey made. Obviously everyone makes mistakes but I think this one could have easily been prevented, as the correct name was on the card.
I can't imagine what both of the final 2 contestants were going through during this time. Pia Wurtzbach probably had it a lot easier as she became the "winner" officially, but what Paulina felt as her crown was being taken off her head, I can't imagine.

Kanye West's Yeezy's
Kanye West joined together with Adidas for a sportswear collaboration which was ongoing for 18 months straight. He wished for his sneakers, Yeezy Boosts, to give off a military vibe. The shoes were first debuted at the YEEZY Season fashion show in February. A grey edition is confirmed to release at select locations worldwide on June 27th, 2015 with an MSRP of $200. Justin Bieber and Travis Scott are even spotting a pair!
There are two Boost models: the Yeezy Boost 750 ($350, mid-top), and the Yeezy Boost 350 ($200, low-top). The next rumored Yeezy Boost releases are the all-black 750 (December 19th, 2015) and the “Oxford Tan” 350 (December 29th, 2015). adidas.com will be one of few online retailers-- get the shoes ASAP, they will sell out quick! Not only that, but this line of shoe is limited edition. You will definitely stand out due to the "un-earthy" appeal of shoe, says Kanye West himself -- that is not a bad thing! Some may even compare these shoes to Nike Roshe shoes, but these Boosts definitely are their own thing, with their "chill vibe", Kanye also says.

Dolce & Gabanna Child Boutique
Dolce & Gabbana announces the opening of its first Child boutique in the Mall of Emirates in Dubai!
The Collection, first opening in London, features Dolce & Gabbana’s tailoring tradition and heritage with sublime new expressions that portray the dream and values of the brand while representing its style. For girls you’ll find lace, crochet, tweed, polka dots and the animal prints. As for boys, you can find three piece suits, bow ties, velvet jackets, and silk scarfs.
I love how many of their pieces for Girls and Boys are an exact copy of the Women’s and Men’s collections featured on the runway at the Milan Fashion Week. You can’t get much closer than that to a perfect Mini Me collection.
This line will appeal to brand enthusiasts who want to deck out all family members in the Italian fashion house’s attire. Clothing, accessories, vintage toys and furniture can be found in the boutique that offers items for newborns up to age twelve for both boys and girls.
In addition to carrying the brand’s current 2014 children’s collections, enthusiasts familiar with Dolce & Gabbana’s retail footprint will recognize the children’s boutique’s fitting and fixtures. The space features Champagne-colored stainless steel hangers, lacquered wood drawers and dressing room furniture and walls covered in a light beige velvet.

"My Stuff Bags" Foundation
The following was taken from the "My stuff bags" website.
www.mystuffbags.org
Our Mission: The My Stuff Bags Foundation provides new belongings, comfort and hope to thousands of children each year who must be rescued from abuse, neglect and abandonment across the United States. By rallying widespread individual and corporate involvement through our unique “My Stuff Bags” program, we address the immediate physical and emotional needs of rescued children, and help support the agencies caring for them.
Our Vision: The My Stuff Bags Foundation’s ultimate goal is to provide a My Stuff Bag filled with new belongings to each of the nearly 300,000 children each year who must enter crisis shelters and foster care with nothing of their own.
This cause is important not only to me, but to my blog as well. My blog revolves around brand name bags- owning them, purchasing them, and such. But the reality is that many people, including children, don't have access to these "splurge" items. We buy these items because we really like them. Some even have a bunch of bags and wallets.
1 in 45 children experience homelessness in America each year. That's over 1.6 million children. These children don't have the access to even buy the things they need, forget about what they want (such as purses for example!!) The vision that the My Stuff Bags Foundation holds is very important to me and it is amazing what they do. They provide "comfort" and "hope" to kids who have lost everything, or had nothing to begin with.
This is an amazing Cause and Foundation- visit their website and check them out!!

13 Year Old Fashion Designer Displays Line in NYC
Isabella Taylor is not your typical fashion designer, at age 13. She started her own business when she was only 8, graduated from high school at 11, and is currently enrolled in Austin Community College.
She reached another achievement when the store Nordstrom started selling her fall line, Urban Camper. The basis of her clothing designs include her love of painting. "It definitely has a street vibe, a little bit of grunge aspect to it, a lot of hippy elements," said Taylor, when she spoke to USA Today.
Clearly Taylor has never let age be a factor in pursing her dreams. She wants others to know that is she can achieve her dreams, they can too.

The new color additions to Michael Kors Products
New color additions to Michael Kors leather products have for sure caught my attention! "Blossom" and "Tulip" are gorgeous shades of pink and I am so excited to purchase products in those colors. I love how they stray away from the typical pink colors, and are deeper and brighter tones. I've seen a bunch of people with these new colors and I have loved them ever since. This is a great decision by Michael Kors, I think a lot of people will be really happy with it. Something as simple as a wallet, or coin purse featuring these colors, are so gorgeous. I will definitely be adding "Blossom" and "Tulip" into my MK collection!
